What city do you live in: Kansas City

Where do you work and what do you do: I'm an associate at Eventpros, where I work in business development and public relations.

Tell us about yourself: I'm an associate at EventPros. I was previously Vice President of Public Information and Special Events at KCPT, Kansas City Public Television. My career in journalism, public relations and marketing include leadership positions in the academic, healthcare and media sectors. In Oklahoma I was both a political candidate and consultant, and then hosted a radio talk show. I live in Rockhill Gardens with my wife Stephanie and baby daughter Caroline. When I'm not working the "day job" I'm a freelance writer and budding novelist. I also sell photographs for use on greeting cards and as prints at RedBubble.
