Heidi Walker Vendor Fairs

I have paid to set up at a total of 3 vendor fairs. Each was kind of a fizzle. Not many folks showing or people walking by fast not wanting to look at the items vendors had. I will be doing another vendor fair in April.

Terrell L Church Marketing?

Should churches marketing? Absolutely. Here’s how Wiki defines marketing: Marketing is the process by which companies determine what products or services may be of interest to customers. It is an integrated process through which companies create value for customers and build strong customer relationships in order to capture value from customers in return. In the scenario of this discussion, the “company” is the church and the “products or services” can often vary but are centered on the messag… Continue

Michael Irvin Life Lessons from the Oscar’s

I like many others watched the Oscar’s last night. Or, to be more accurate I kind of watched them as I dozed through the slow parts. It wasn’t the most entertaining Oscar ceremony, nor were there any great surprises. The pageantry seemed overly staged and stiff in my opinion. So what lessons could we learn from the Oscar’s?

Dave Templeman 2nd Place

Arrrrg!!!! The Canucks won! Nearly 20% of televisions in the US were turned to NBC Sunday afternoon watching arguably the most important hockey game for the US since 1980.

I don't watch hockey much anymore, but I love the game. As a young man I went to a lot of live hockey games in Iowa. I'll be at a hockey tournament this weekend. My brother was coach

Terrell L Using E-Books in Ministry

In what ways can e-books be used in ministry?

To gain respect. When someone takes out their time to read a book, it is usually because they respect and value the opinions of the author. Today, there are an ever-increasing number of ministers with honorary doctrines, blingy bishop rings,

Paul Evans My Blog Has a First Name ... It's B.R.A.N.D. ....

In the old days ... that is, before the web and more recently social media ... choosing the name for your business was a simple matter. If your name was Bob and you were a plumber's apprentice, there finally came a time for you to spread your wings and go off on your own. Heidi Walker Single Moms to Get Free AVON

I really can use some good advice. It is obvious that people here know how to get things done. Ok no hokie pokie here is the situtation.

I am an AVON lady and my cousin asked to be a hostess for an Eparty.

I set it up for her and it ran for 2 weeks. I sent her the email invitation to forward to all of her friends, which she did with reminders.

After 2 weeks the only people who have participated are my friends that I invited from the direct sales social netw

Bruce Re Creating Brand Authenticity

The challenge that marketing professionals face today is how to make their brand meaningful to their customers and to develop relationships that meet or exceed their customers’ needs. The question is how do you let your customers see your brand personally, what it actually stands for? In the midst of all the mass media advertising, photo ops and patting yourselves on the back, what does your company’s brand look like when no one is looking? The issues are a compilation of Customer Brand Awa

Bruce Re How do you Make Money in Commercial Real Estate?

Knowledgeable real estate investors know there are three primary ways to make money in commercial real estate. They are cash flow, appreciation and principal buildup through paying down a loan. An investment can offer only one of these or all three. Which investment is right depends on the investor’s personal needs which may change over time and his resulting emphasis on these three

Michael Irvin Time to Update an Aesop Fable

Aesop’s Fables have been classic tales for hundred’s of years. How many of us remember sitting and watching Disney’s cartoon version created in 1934. The Harvard Classics, printed from 1909-1914, put Aesop’s fable this way:

Dave Templeman From the ashes

I don’t know who originally said “you can’t keep a good man down” but one of the things that continues to amaze me is the resiliency of the human spirit. Think about some of the more inspirational people in our history. Abe Lincoln was born at the start of the 19th century to a poor Kentucky farmer. He had less than 2 years of formal education. He endured tragedies throughout his life. Yet he is a key figure in what this country became in the 20th century and beyond.

Cindy McGuire 10 Simple and Inexpensive Marketing Ideas for a Tough Economy

The harsh reality of today's economy is that many people are unable or unwilling to spend money like they have in the past. It used to mean nothing to me to spend $100 or $200 on clothes and shoes every few months, go out to eat several time a week and buy things I didn't really need but thought I wanted on a weekly basis. I also used to donate money to several local charities. During the past year and a half, I have probably spent only $300 total on these items. Not good for the local economy,… Continue
