I have extensive experience in Enterprise software as a Systems Engineer for a software company.

I have a sincere desire to move into a direct Account Management position and am looking for any advice or opportunities to leverage my experience in Pre-Sales.

As you know may already know, all the television stations have been doing stories on the Job Markets. Recently NBC Action News ran a story on companies that are still hiring. As part of this story, they referred job seekers to go to the www.nbcactionnews.com site to look for companies that are currently hiring. Job News host the job board on this website!! As a result of this story in the last week the web traffic to www.jobnewskc.com website has tripled!!!

On Wednesday November 19th NBC Action News will dedicate their morning show to open jobs in the Kansas City Area. They have asked Job News to interview for this segment. We will be discussing some of the companies that have open positions and where job seekers can apply for these positions. Of course we will discuss the companies that post to the www.jobnewskc.com website.


This is your opportunity to get maxium expousure to your company and your open positions. ALSO we will be taking calls from Job Seekers looking for employment. Example, if a job seeker is looking for a career in Healthcare , I would tell them about the open positions at John Knox Village or if they were looking in sales I would let them know about Comcast Cable's open positions and direct them to the www.jobnewskc.com website to apply for these positions.

Job News will be hosting an all industry career fair on Nov. 11th from 10am to 3pm at the Overland Park Marriott.
There will be a wide range of employers in attendance. Jobs will range from entry level to degreed.

I am currently looking for a full-time position in customer service. I have 15 years experience in customer service both in the restaurant industry as well as in a call center environment. I have dealt with a broad spectrum of customers. With my previous employer I processed claims for wireless cell phone insurance. I entered client data into a secure database for processing. I also answered incoming calls and assisted with account-specific questions.

I have basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications ( Word, Outlook, Excel ) and can type 35 wpm. I have almost 5 years of data entry experience as well.

If anyone knows of any place that may be looking for a customer service rep, please let me know.

I recently relocated to the Kansas City area from New York. I was a Senior Associate with over 10 years of extensive executive compensation research experience for Mercer Human Resource Consulting. I am ideally looking for an opportunity where I can use my survey, consulting, and analytical skills. I think many of these are transferable skills. Since I have been here in Kansas City, I participated in the AIDs walk in April and I am currently volunteering at the American Stoke Foundation helping them with their annual Walk on the Wildside and with the Stems event at the Overland Park Arboretum.
