Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraising Campaign

This Spring I would like us to focus on raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are going to support one of our members, Chris Perrey from Sprint, in this effort.

Please let me know if you have any ideas to support this worthy cause. We are currently looking for a variety of different things for a silent and/or live auction. Specifically, any ideas in that area would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, an estimated 894,543 Americans are living with a potentially fatal blood cancer like leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma—many of them are located right here in Kansas City. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.

I'm glad to see this with this group. I'm participating in the Team in Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the San Diego Marathon (half) in May. Just in my short time of raising money for the cure, I have found so many people, so close to home are touched by this type of cancer.

If I come up with any additional items for an auction, I'll be sure to pass them along.

Yes we all get it and some of us send it. This is a plea to my friends, family, and associates that LOVE to send chain emails. Many of these are sweet, thoughtful, and should be sent on to others. Click here to read my complete plea.
